Gran Tarajal Beach (Playa de Gran Tarajal) is on the east coast of Fuerteventura, in the region of Tuineje.

The beaches on this part of the island have black sand, in contrast with the spectacular golden sand beaches that are abundant throughout the rest of the island, and Gran Tarajal is no exception. It is an urban beach, less than half a kilometre long and mainly visited by local residents. It is set up well, with toilets, showers etc., and the promenade supplements it with its bars, restaurants, and shops…

Thanks to its urban setting, it’s easy to get to, whether on the bus, on foot, or by car, for which there is plenty of parking nearby.
