Playa de Cofete (Cofete Beach) is found within the Jandia Natural Park, on the southwest coast of Fuerteventura.

It is the longest and most spectacular beach on the island, with kilometres and kilometres of pure golden sand that stretches along a large part of the Jandia peninsula. It is one of those dreamy beaches that is ideal for losing yourself on a walk, lying down in the sand and letting the hours pass by or simply enjoying its charm, because despite its incredible and paradisiacal appearance, it isn’t the best beach for swimming due to its strong waves.

To reach Cofete, you have to travel along some fairly windy dirt roads. It isn’t easy, but it’s not mission impossible. You should be able to get there with a rental car.
