Here, there stand two imposing bronze statues that represent the Kings of the island before the invasion and subsequent Castilian conquest of <a href=\"https:\/\/gofuerteventura.com\/en\/\">Fuerteventura<\/a>: Guise and Ayose.<\/p><div id=\"gofue-59658922\" class=\"gofue-content gofue-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-0088719563045673\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0088719563045673\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"7246810020\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>In the past, the island was divided into two kingdoms, Jand\u00eda and Maxorata, governed by the aforementioned kings. In this area, there was a large defensive wall that separated the two kingdoms.<\/p>\n<p>The Viewpoint is found just off FV-30, which goes down towards Betancuria, and from which you can get unbeatable views of both the <strong>Valle de Betancuria<\/strong> (<em>Betancuria Valley<\/em>) and the northern half of Fuerteventura.
